“walking floor” hoppers have been popular
for years, however, the standard design does not
allow the operator to drive through a loaded hopper.
This design allows the operator to shift the bin
sideways without stopping the hydraulic drive.
This allows the truck to pass through on the concrete
while the husking operation continues to run.
This unit is very useful for smaller operations,
especially if wagons or similar devices are used
to transport seed to the plant. If desired, the
operator can also shift the hopper to the side
for conventional rear unloading or system maintenance.
The system is best suited for new installations,
but can also be used for retrofit projects. |
